We will assist you in setting up a phone call with Dr. Rumbaut at a convenient time for you; you will learn what procedure is adequate for you, he will answer your doubts, procedure details, what can be expected, etc.
3. We will contact you
Afterwards, our administrative team will call you or contact you through WhatsApp to follow up on your case, resolve any doubts and give you a surgery quote.

Traveling to Monterey
ARRIVAL DAY TO MONTERREY
There will be a driver at the airport to transfer you from the airport to the hotel or pre-operative tests, depending on your schedule.
In case your surgery is programed for the next day, you'll arrive directly to your pre-surgery tests and to the hotel afterwards.
Pre-operative tests are performed in Monterrey the morning before surgery, so you should arrive before 10:00 am.
A DAY BEFORE SURGERY
Appointment with an internist and cardiologist for examination and preoperative evaluation before 10:00 am.
In the afternoon you will have an appointment with Dr. Rumbaut and our specialist in Bariatric Nutrition for final details.
PROCEDURE DAY
Depending on the time of your procedure you will be transported from your hotel to the hospital.
Bypass, Metabolic Surgery and Sleeve patients spend 2 nights at the hospital. Bariclip patients spend 1 night and Gastric Balloon none.
HOSPITAL CHECK-OUT
Dr. Rumbaut will discharge you from the hospital to continue your recovery process at the Hotel (Bypass and Metabolic Surgery spend 5 nights at the hotel. Gastric Sleeve, Bariclip and Gastric Balloon 2 nights).
During your hotel stay you will be visited daily by our medical team.
GOING BACK HOME
You will have an appointment at our office for overall assessment, delivery of a copy of your surgery report and the date of your next follow-up visit (which will be by telephone or videoconference).
A driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport so you can go home.
Other things to consider
Remember to follow your airline's indications in terms of schedule and documents, we do not want you to have a setback with your appointments and surgery.
International passengers require airplane ticket and passport, national passengers require airplane ticket and an official ID.

The hotel offers free transportation within a radius of 10 Miles (includes hospital and office). Please reserve in advance.
